The next stop on the Music and Hockey Tour 2012 was Helensburgh, Scotland. St. Hilda´s student´s were received by their hosts, Lomond School (http://www.lomond-school.org/), with a lunch in the dinning hall.

After lunch the orchestra rehearsed  at the school and then everyone went to their host´s home before returning to the school for the musical concert in the evening.

In the afternoon everyone returned to Lomond School and the girls prepared to play their hockey match. It was so cold that the synthetic hockey pitch was frozen so the match had to be played indoors with 3 teams made up of six players each. This was the first time St. Hilda´s hockey players had ever played indoors and they did so very successfully, they won all three matches.
