The weekend was spent in the Lake District region where the Beatrix Potter is famously from.
On Sunday the choir and a few band member visited Cold Springs Park Residential Home (due to space restrictions in the Home it was not possible for the whole band to perform). The home´s residents very much appreciated the students´ performance after which they were all invited to tea and cakes.
While chatting with the Home´s residents the students discovered that one of them had actually been a friend Beatrix Potter´s!

The rest of the weekend was spent sightseeing, in spite of the British weather.
